Office Changes at Safe Ride News

Nancy Beaumont Retires After 18 Years of Dedicated Service

Longtime SRN Publications office director, Nancy Beaumont, has retired as of June 1, 2017.  After several years freelancing for SRN, Nancy was hired to run the Safe Ride News office by then-owner Deborah Stewart in 1999.  Over time, Nancy managed other part-time employees, notably Steven and Sally, whose positions have been eliminated along with the closure of the Edmonds office.

Those who have contacted the SRN office over the past 18 years likely know Nancy as the friendly voice on the phone, and many have become friends through years of conversations.  These interactions with the CPS community have been an especially fulfilling part of the job for Nancy, and she will miss her regular interactions with you.  If you want to send Nancy a retirement greeting or contact her in the future, please contact our office to get her information.

Ongoing SRN Operations:  Meet Brian Donaldson

Although this represents a major transition for the day-to-day work at Safe Ride News Publications, the intention is to make this change as seamless as possible for the CPS community.  The office itself has been moved to nearby Greenbank, Washington (P.O.Box 136, Greenbank, WA 98253-0136).  The email addresses (info@saferidenews.com and denise@saferidenews.com) and all existing phone numbers are unchanged.

The main change will be introducing the CPS community to SRN’s new operations director, Brian Donaldson, owner Denise Donaldson’s husband.  He’s no Nancy Beaumont, but SRN hopes you’ll find he has his own brand of phone charisma, and he’s sure to efficiently process your orders and fulfill your customer service needs.  In addition, Denise intends to take on a more active role in customer care, so those contacting us may interact with either Denise or Brian.  While the info@saferidenews.com address is still appropriate to use, Brian can also be reached at brian@saferidenews.com.
