LATCH Manual Highlights:
SRN’s biennial release of a new LATCH Manual edition includes updates to manufacturer instructions for use of lower anchors and tethers of some CR products and vehicles.
- Input from major vehicle and CR manufacturers, including brand- and model-specific information.
- Updated vehicle listings, including the addition of recent model year vehicles, as well as clarified and expanded usage notes for all years.
- A chapter on retrofitting older vehicles with tether anchors that includes a supplement for vehicle manufacturer part numbers, availability, and other installation and use details.

Because a picture is worth a thousand words, the LATCH Gallery provides photos of interesting examples of lower and tether anchors in vehicles. It is intended to assist the Child Passenger Safety community by clarifying challenging vehicle LATCH situations that are more creative, complex or confusing than most. If a vehicle model has an entry in the LATCH Gallery, this is mentioned in the Notes section of its Appendix B entry in your new LATCH Manual.
